Who We Are

RMP is dedicated to improving the education, health and wellness of all people, especially those throughout Native communities.

Lives will be changed in our communities as they benefit from our investments in their future.

The Foundation was created in memory of Ronald Maese Peralta.  Mr. Peralta was born and raised in Southern California.  He served in the Army, 101st Airborne, Fort Campbell, KY, where he met his wife.  Mr. Peralta then served as Tribal Chairman of the San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians in Valley Center, California.  Over the course of his tenure as Tribal Chairman, Mr. Peralta implemented programs that followed his passion of creating the first Indian education program on the reservation, long before tribes began investing in casinos.  When he was a child, his mother instilled in him and his four brothers the importance of an education.  His children were the first generation in the family to graduate from college.  Despite his long-term illness, he still visited the reservation and was active in the tribal council meetings.  He loved watching his favorite sports – football and basketball, always cheering for the Washington Redskins and the Los Angeles Lakers!  He also passed time listening to the sounds of jazz.  Mr. Peralta always kept a sense of humor, a love for life and an optimistic attitude.
